| Comments: | Hi All, My day job is being an engineer (28 years now) doing all sorts of spreadsheet and database work. In real life I look forward to a career change that will get me outdoors more, getting more involved with individual and community self-sufficiency. In other words, I really think we need to be less reliant on everything big (government, corporations, retail giants, etc.). Ohio Camp Cooks seems to be a wonderful community to be a part of. I'm going in lots of other directions (volunteering with The Nature Conservancy, hiking, bicycling, beekeeping, etc), so I may not be highly visible, but rest assured that I will definitely be checking in from time to time. |

| Comments: | Have always loved the outdoors. Do not hunt anymore, but still love to fish. Spent several years in New Mexico and probably know every trout stream and lake in that State. We visited there a few years ago and spent some time in the mountains around Los Alamos (Jemez Springs). There was a nice fellow who had cabins up there. One of the most enjoyable times was sitting around the camp fire in the evening having coffee and visiting with whoever was there.
